Wow! Caribbean type beaches in North Western Ontario.
What a breathtakingly beautiful property, a hidden gem for sure.
We are offering 2 parcels, one being the waterfront piece of 38 acres and another 10 acre parcel inland.
Imagine wandering 1.3 miles (2.15km) of undisturbed shoreline, vacationing with the family, sunning on the beaches playing and fishing on Little Turtle lake. Excellent spot to try your angling skills for walleye, northern pike or small-mouth bass.
Little Turtle has a max depth of 9m (29 feet) and an average depth of 3.6m (12 feet).
This unique property is located in an UNORGANIZED township, just outside the hamlet of Mine Centre, Ont. in the Rainy River District.
The 10 acre parcel is an old mine center, where workers would stay while prospecting the Olive claims. The property has no mine hazards located within it. However some outbuildings, outhouse and an old mining cart are still standing. We can not confirm the structural integrity of the buildings.
The shoreline parcel has a steel boathouse just at the waters edge.
The property can be accessed by way of a seasonal road off of highway 11. The road is not maintained in the winter months. As you can see in the photos, the road will need to be brushed back and some tidying.
Crown land abuts both properties, so this is a very private quiet paradise. Very limited development and virtually no neighbours.
The property comes with surface, mineral and tree rights. Pines are reserved to the crown.
Little Turtle has excellent kayaking and canoeing opportunities on the Turtle River-White Otter Provincial Park located on the north east corner of the lake. There you will be able to see rocky outcroppings, a large moraine with Indigenous pictographs. Hundreds of kilometers of pristine waterways.
